Approach

How Lebster works

Illustrative is how Lebster draws: subject first, then line, and the line is never an afterthought. He encourages the use of line in every tattoo he makes, whether it ends up in full color or black and gray.

The portfolio shows the range: creatures like the hanging bat and the green parrot, characters like Ursula and Megara, and playful small pieces such as the frog on a pizza and the blue frogs in cowboy hats.

Subjects, placement, and sessions

Illustrative work suits anything that reads well as a drawn image: animals and creatures, characters, objects, and small scenes. It scales from a single small piece to a larger composition that wraps a forearm or lower leg.

Placements in this portfolio: upper arm and shoulder, calf, upper arm, forearm, hip and thigh, arm, sternum, lower leg, hand.

Booking questions

How does booking work?

Every project starts with an inquiry on the booking page. I review it, follow up to talk through the idea, and if we're a good fit I'll send a quote and a way to pay the retainer.

Submitting an inquiry does not confirm an appointment. Your date is held once the inquiry is approved and the retainer is received.

What are half-day and full-day sessions?

Half-day session ($700): Up to approximately four hours of tattoo time.

Full-day session ($1,200): Approximately 7 to 10 hours of tattoo time within a full reserved appointment day.

Tattoo minimum: From $150. Final estimates depend on size, placement, detail, and complexity, and larger projects may take multiple sessions.

How does the retainer work?

A retainer is required to reserve an appointment. The full-day booking retainer is $250 and is applied to your final balance. The retainer is non-refundable.
