The artist

An artist shaped by process, community, and experience

Lebster Pabon

I'm dedicated to the craft of making tattoos, and I'm obsessed with the process. Whatever the subject, I encourage the use of line in every tattoo I make, whether it's color or black and gray.

My styles are illustrative and neo-traditional, and my work spans fine-line, traditional, watercolor-inspired, color, and black-and-gray tattooing. The best tattoos come from a real conversation about what the piece means to you and how it should sit on your body.

Tattoo philosophy

How I approach the work

  • Line first

Strong, deliberate linework is the skeleton of every tattoo. Varied line weight gives a design energy and helps it age well.

  • Built for the body

Composition follows the shape and movement of the placement, so the tattoo looks right on you, not just on paper.

  • Collaboration

Your idea and my drawing meet in the middle. Feedback is part of the process, not an interruption.

  • Respect for the story

Cover-ups and scar work are personal. Those conversations are private, unhurried, and never a sales pitch.
